The Red Fort: The Red Fort built by the Mughal emperor Shajahan sprawls over 2.2 kilometers by the banks of river Yamuna. The Fort having two entrances Lahore Gate & Delhi Gate includes Mumtaz Mahal, Khas Mahal, Rang Mahal, Diwan-e Khas, the Hammam and and Shah Burj. It entertains the visitors every evening with a Light and Sound Show.
Purana Quila: Purana Quila i.e. the Old Fort is actually the inner citadel of the city named Dinpanah, constructed by Humayun. Purana Quila smells the ancient stories leaking out from its every corner.
Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar, a tribute to architecture attracts people by its steep mass appeal. It’s a five-storey building and the highest tower in India which is made of stone.
India Gate: India Gate standing at the end of Rajpath, is the earnest monument constructed in memory of those 90,000 Indian soldiers who sacrificed their life in World War I. Their names are engraved on its walls.
Shish Mahal: Shish Mahal is the central pavilion constructed by Shah Jahan, although presently advancing towards its decay, have still managed to retain it so as to prove the beauty of the place in Shah Jahan’s time.
